The doors are fitted with high-quality hinges and a magnetic catch, so they close smoothly without slamming.

We also stamp a sloped drainage lip into the bottom shelf of the lower section. If a bottle of bleach leaks, the liquid is contained and channels to the front edge for easy cleanup, rather than pooling and rusting the steel base. The pure shelf design means you can slide heavy boxes in without worrying about drawer slides breaking under the weight.

Production Details

Here is the real manufacturing headache with pure shelving cabinets: shelf deflection under heavy loads. A 0.5mm steel shelf holding 40kg of canned goods will bow in the center over time. We stamp a double-folded edge flange on all four sides of every shelf panel. This structural ridge prevents bending. For cold storage applications, we recommend the 1.0mm steel upgrade, because the extreme temperature fluctuations cause standard thin steel to expand and contract, which can loosen the shelf clips over time.

Another critical issue is the powder coating adhesion. In a damp warehouse, moisture seeps into the door seams. We apply a zinc-phosphating wash before the electrostatic powder spray. If a factory skips this step, the paint will blister and peel within a year, especially in cold storage environments where condensation forms on the steel surface.

We don't just test empty shelves. We load the bottom section with 80kg of dead weight and leave it for 72 hours to check for shelf deflection. The central locking bars are cycle-tested for 50,000 turns. The powder coating undergoes a 500-hour salt spray test to guarantee it won't rust in humid backrooms. For sea freight, the flat-packed panels are protected by high-density EPE foam in 5-layer corrugated cartons, and the packages are drop-tested from 80cm to ensure the steel edges arrive perfectly straight.
